Super Nintendo was a tricky platform to create product for. It was limited to 16 color palettes for each sprite (tile) and the aspect ratio was funky. Star Trek, Starfleet Academy was an early adopter of real time 3d engines.

Characters are always a challenge to make interesting, believable and, most of all, appealing.

I created all the spell animations in StoneKeep utilizing the Dynamation particle system and I created the opening cinematics for the Battle Chess Collection. Also, I did quite a bit of 3d work on VR Sports Baseball: building stadiums and creating the player characters.

Dreamworks Interactive recruited me to animate Steven Spielberg's new project, Virtual Life. Nora Efron was writing the story and it promised to be a breakout game experience. Unfortunately, the project got shelved in lieu of The Lost World: Jurassic Park. However, this turned out to be quite the hit on the Sony Playstation, raking in over 7 million dollars.

Soon, Dreamworks SKG moved me over to feature animation to keyframe (hand-animate) the dragon character on the original SHREK animated film. Before I even got to start, though, the entire production team got canned and the film was yanked and thrust back into visual development. As a result, I wound up working on the main characters, Shrek and Donkey, instead, flushing out aesthetic, animation and technical issues. I built and rigged quite a few models and created dozens of animation sequences.
