2000 NIKKI
This was a personal project: A full body study from 3d modeling to skeleton creation and rigging, skin deformation studies and finally, realistic animation. No seams were hidden by clothing or adornments. Believable and appealing skin deformation across the entire body was the goal.

2000 - WARPATH
I modeled, rigged, and animated most of the dinosaurs in this fighting game. I composed an interesting cinematic sequence and a bonus human character, Little Hawk, but those assets did not make it into the final production.

2001 - THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE MONEY
The art and animation for this spaghetti western parody was for a casino gaming company out of Australia.

2001 - PELICAN BEACH
Another casino game. This one features 3d models and rigged marine bird characters but "toon" rendered with an early 3rd party plugin for 3d Studio.

2002 - 2003 ANIDRAGON
This concept began as a real-time animated background screensaver that showcased a world full of growing dragons hatched from virtual eggs. I designed and modeled all the worlds, the dragons, the "squeeble", created all the animations and scripted all the behaviors. Several new, cutting edge approaches were discussed, flushed-out, and implemented.

2004 MOBILE GAMES
Take a giant step backwards if you want to create product for the early mobile devices. What a bear! A gazillion different phones and carriers, several operating systems, screen resolutions all over the place, color palettes and frame rates back to the stone age and forget compatability.
Buy hey, we still had to make it all work, so yipee, back to pixel pushing with a handful of colors.

2006 - TIPS
Interesting concept: Athletic lessons on your cell phone by known-name sports celebrities. However, Porting to all the different handsets was problematic and creating the pixel art was labor intensive. Then, the venture capitalists lost their way and everything fell apart.

Teknik Digital Arts also planned on creating a series of sports games, which I got to work on designing the gameplay and writing the scope of work specifications. I created all the graphics for the boxes, website and marketing materials.

2000s - FLASH
Gads, I miss FLASH. What a great authoring tool. I conjured several shows, games and websites utilizing vector animation and actionscript. All obsolete now of course. Thanks a lot, Google.
